If you prefer the east coast sound, like vintage KLH, Boston Acoustics, or Advent, you'll likely enjoy these. If you like/love Klipsch, you won't like the RS5. And you may find that a watt or 2 is all you'll need in a small room, or apartment. A good 10 watts will have them going at moderate levels. They can soak up some power, but are not a difficult load like some of the larger offerings.

The RS5 can be used alone as a full range speaker, or be accompanied by a subwoofer. It's not that their newer speakers are all bad, but the craftsmanship and serious approach to speaker design took a new direction shortly after they released this line.
These are close to the end of Infinity's truly refined speakers. They also have an adjustable tweeter and mid controls to tailor the output levels you prefer. Each beautifully finished cabinet has 2 6.5" polypropylene woofers, a 2" polydome mid-range and the Infinity Emit tweeter. This pair is finished in a very nice oak, real wood, veneer. 1 pair of vintage (original) Infinity RS5 Speakers with new foam surrounds.
